Face 2 Face is a new collection that opens with three cute little birds that combine synthetized forms with a two-fold decorative treatment. Toucan, Sparrow and Hummingbird are created using different techniques. On one side, the wings and feathers are minutely etched while, on the other, they are represented with line drawing. And so, one face is decorated with enamels and varnishes and the other with black on white. The birds’ beaks are finished in iridescent tones and each piece comes with a black lacquered metal support. A light-hearted treatment for creations that speak to us of duality and the complexity of opposites. After all, who hasn’t got more than one face?
