The Essay Begins is a porcelain sculpture that conveys the elegance, the sweetness, the grace and virtuosity of ballet. The intention behind this piece, as well as that entitled My Ballet Class, was to distil the essence of Lladró into a small and delicate format, as if they were small jewels or perfume bottles.
With a matte porcelain finish with touches of gloss. 12 petals decorate their hair.
