Description:
According to legend, Rama, an incarnation of the god Vishnu, was a Hindu prince known for his devotion to truth and justice. Despite his righteousness, he was exiled along with his wife Sita and his brother Lakshman. During their exile, Sita was kidnapped by the demon king Ravana, leading Rama on an epic quest to rescue her, aided by the monkey god Hanuman. This porcelain set represents the four protagonists of this legendary tale.
Each deity, crafted in glossy porcelain, stands out for its meticulous decoration and the use of liquid colors and varied glazes that capture the vibrant chromatic richness characteristic of Hindu art. Helmets, garments, belts, and jewelry have been exquisitely recreated with extraordinary detail, using ornamental techniques engraved directly onto the porcelain.
This set is a refined homage to Indian culture and traditions, a true work of art that embodies the essence of this epic legend. The set includes a wooden base.
